The new collection is a visual translation of Malabar genesis. Art, handcraft, and exclusivity are part of Malabar’s history since the beginning. From the traditional Portuguese fado guitar collection to one of the most ubiquitous of all art forms to have emerged from human history, ceramics. Malabar teamed up with Grau Cerâmica to draw a Limited-Edition Ceramic Collection. Inordinately satisfying to touch, the handbuilding takes passion, concentration, and a lot of time but, eventually, when the clay is in ceramists’ hands is shaped into art.

Malabar wanted to bring out the characteristics of this soft material as well as employ Malabar’s signature, so the ideas spark into a primitive balanced collection, whose chains are the highlight. The chains standout as connector symbols of the Collaboration Values, slow production, made by hand with care, limited edition, and shared power between the two Portuguese brands.

Therefore, the PowerHouse Collection was born to shape art.
