David Collins’s design and aesthetic have had a huge impact. Simon Mills of Wallpaper* magazine said that “It is no exaggeration to say that the restaurant and hotel revolution in London of the last two decades would not have been the same without him”.
David Collins died in 2013. Being a truly gifted and inspirational man, he has left us with some of the most remarkable and treasured interiors. Also, David Collins studio still exists in London. And, in his honour, the studio has made a donation to MacMillan cancer support whose incredible team cannot be underestimated.
