From the 20s to 2020, Cubism seems to be more and more present in interior design.

Inspired by Picasso and Braque in the early ages, Cubism has been a source of controversial criticism. In fact, some artists criticized this funny style for being a strange betrayal of modern architecture. Nowadays, it inspires many trends and is the cause of many great works.

Cézanne, the French painter and artist somehow influenced this trend with one of his works. For example, he used to minimize nature to sculptural forms such as cylinders, spheres and cones.

The painters believed there was a different form to emulate nature without being copying it. So, they blended many conceptions to do it. Use of geometrical shapes, deconstruction and subsequent reassembly of objects or showing different viewpoints are some of many.
