During the 15th and 16th centuries, Portugal discovered numerous territories and maritime routes. The Portuguese sailors navigated across the world exploring, discovering and mapping the coasts of Africa, India, Canada and Brazil. Malabar was inspired by these happenings to design the Horizon Side Table, since it is the most important part of the Portuguese history.
