Surprise is key in all art. The Mondadori headquarters remain one of the most compelling memories of Oscar Niemayer’s work and is now the inspiration to the Mondo Cabinet. The heart and soul of the luxury Mondo Cabinet came up from the original project: the windows, home to newsrooms and offices, took the form of the shelves that emerge as storage space.
